31 Oct 2025

On October 23rd, 2024, 40 international students from ECUST visited China See Museum, located in Shanghai’s Minhang District, for an immersive experience of traditional Chinese culture and Chinese aesthetics.

China is the birthplace of ceramic art. At China See students got to delve into the history and current development for Chinese ceramic art. They were mesmerized by the exquisite ceramic artworks displayed in the exhibition area.

In addition, the students personally made pottery works and experienced the entire process from casting, drying to decoration under the guidance of pottery teachers. They expressed their love for this activity, not only enjoying the pleasure of handmade creation, but also having the opportunity to learn about various Chinese pottery and its expansive history.

Different kinds of activities will be organized on a regular basis, aiming to offer international students with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Chinese culture.
